About the Design
From the Ace Combat Infinity free-to-play videogame created for the Sony Play Station and released in May 2014, the XFA-27 Fighter is a multi-role swing-fighter originally created for 1997's Ace Combat 2. The aircraft is carrier-based and noted for its ability to fire four missiles in quick succession. It can be used tactically against both air and ground targets, and boasts a sophisticated electronic warfare system that enhances its stealth capabilities.

About the Kit
This is one of several XFA-27 fighter variations released by Japan's Kotobukiya in 2018. The model can be built with its landing gear deployed or in the in-flight configuration shown here. A clear display stand was also included (not shown).
