U.S.S. Enterprise C
from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987-1994)
About the Design
The Enterprise-C made its one and only appearance in ST:TNG's classic third season time-bender "Yesterday's Enterprise." The design provided a much-needed "missing link" in the evolution of "Enterprise" designs between the original NCC-1701 and the TNG "Enterprise-D." (The final puzzle piece, the Excelsior-class Enterprise-B, would not be revealed until the release of "Star Trek: Generations" in 1994.).

About the Kit
The Enterprise-C is regarded by most Fantastic Plastic model builders as one of AMT/Ertl's best "Star Trek" kits. The molding was crisp and accurate, the fit was excellent and the size was just right. In fact, one of AMT/Ertl's last "Star Trek" releases was this same Enterprise-C model done as a fiber optic kit issued under its alternative "U.S.S. Yamaguchi" moniker.
