About the Design
Number 6 in Fantastic Plastic's 1:288 scale "Classic Rocketship" series, the "Ark" was featured in the infamous 1964 American International Picture's B-movie "The Time Travelers." One of the last of the V-2 inspired "tail-sitters" in American cinema, the Ark was intended to ferry the last remaining survivors of a mid-21st century nuclear war to Alpha Centauri. Regrettably, the ship was destroyed by an invading mutant army prior to completion.
This easy-to-build 11-piece all-resin kit was produced exclusively for Fantastic Plastic Models by Millennium Models International (MMI). A display stand is included. |
