TIE Striker
from "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (2016)
About the Design
The TIE Striker (officially the TIE/sk x1 experimental air superiority fighter) was a TIE variant designed specifically for atmospheric combat. The craft, with its distinctive pair of large, high-set wings, was armed with four pairs of laser cannons plus a proton bomb launcher.
The TIE Striker was designed specifically for use in ROGUE ONE's climatic Battle of Scarif sequence. |
