S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet
from "The Avengers" (2012)
About the Design
Inspired by the Marvel comic books that served as the basis for the mega-hit 2012 motion picture, the Quinjet is a multi-role jet aircraft employed by the super-secret international agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Serving as both a transport and tactical fighter, the Quinjet can take-off and land vertically using the two turbofans embedded in its variable-shape wings. The cockpit also tilts to provide the pilots with better visibility during landings.
