About the Design

Of all the vehicles created for the "seaQuest DSV" TV series, this Deep Ocean Transport was by far the most credible.  Looking like a cross between a contemporary submersible and a flatbed pickup truck, the transport gave the otherwise fanciful "seaQuest" series a desperately needed veneer of authenticity.

About the Kit

This Deep Ocean Transport was one of four "seQuest DSV" models released just after the show's September 1993 premiere.  Although released just once, the kits remained readily available on the retail and collectors markets for nearly 10 years.
