About the Design
The "Pella" was featured in Seasons 5 and 6 of "The Expanse" as the flagship of the so-called "Free Navy" commanded by terrorist Marco Inaros. A Corvette-class light-cruiser stolen from the Martian Congressional Republic Navy (MCRN), the "Pella" is a fast, powerful warship powered by four Epstein Drives and armed with nine point-defense cannons (PDCs) and four bow missile launchers.
The ship is named for the birthplace of Macedonian conqueror Alexander the Great. |
