Millennium Falcon
from "Solo: A Star Wars Story" (2018)
About the Design
This "Lando Calrissian Version" of the legendarily Millennium Falcon was design to depict the Corellian YT-1300 freighter in its "original" condition -- before it was trashed during the famous "Kessel Run." This reverse-engineered design proved highly controversial, for it attempted to explain the ship's signature "mandibles" as the mere remnants of an extended front end -- the missing section actually behind a rocket-powered escape pod -- rather than having any singular function of their own.

About the Kit
Released in 2018, this was yet another in Bandai's excellent "easy build" Star War series designed for beginning and intermediate modelers alike. The finished model could be displayed either intact or with its "escape pod" separated. It also included a full interior "lounge" area hidden within the main body.
This kit was built from an original issue. |
