About the Design
A real-life "Star Trek" style starship that can travel faster than the speed of light? That's the dream Dr. Harold "Sonny" White and the Limitless Space Institute (LSI), which, with NASA, have been pursing this sci-fi dream since the mid-2010s. Incorporating a version of the space-bending warp drive proposed by physicist Miguel Alcubierre in the 1990s, the IXS Enterprise -- named for the famed fictional starship -- has been featured in numerous articles and scientific journals, brought to life by famed Dutch artist Mark Rademaker.
This unique resin kit is produced under license by LSI and was created with the help of Mr. Rademaker, for whose help we are eternally grateful. |
