About the Design
The Henschel P.87 was a "schnellbomber" (fast bomber) concept developed late in World War II for the express purpose of delivering payloads to targets quickly and nimbly.
This high-maneuverability design incorporated a "twin wing" design in which the principal control surfaces were placed ahead of the main wing as well as a rear-mounted single engine. World War II ended before the design could be developed further. |
