About the Design

Introduced in Season Two of NBC's "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century," this was the personal air/space fighter of Hawk, the last of the "birdmen" who once populated Earth's Easter Island. A laconic but fierce warrior, Hawk began as Buck Roger's nemesis, only to become an ally aboard the starship "Searcher."

Patterned after a terran bird-of-prey, the Hawk Fighter was equipped with talon-shaped landing gear that could also be used for capturing prey.

About the Kit

Mastered by Alfred Wong and cast by Mana Studios, the Hawk Fighter was released by Fantastic Plastic Models in 2016. It featured a simple cockpit and a clear resin canopy.
