About the Design
The Caprica Air Force Jet Viper was an ancestor of the famous Colonial Vipers featured in both the classic and re-imagined "Battlestar Galactica" TV series. Created for SyFy's "Caprica" prequel series, the Jet Viper was a wholly atmospheric fighter, but retained the elongated nose that made the space-faring Viper so distinctive. Its swept-forward wings added to its "other-worldly" origins.

About the Kit
The 1:72 Caprica Air Force Jet Fighter kit was released by Fantastic Plastic Models in January 2014. The kit was created for Fantastic Plastic by Anigrand Craftswork of Hong Kong. Decals were by JBOT.
