About the Design

The "Blues" are an aggressive blue-haired race of aggressive aliens with plate-like heads, the proportions of which are reflected in their "flying saucer"-like spacecraft. 

About the Kit

In the late 1990s, Revell of Germany released a series of four models based on spacecraft designs featured in Europe's super-popular Perry Rhodan novel series.  This was the first time that a major model manufacturer had ever produced a model line based on novel illustrations  instead of TV or motion picture designs.

The Blues Ship was the last of the four "Perry Rhodan" models to be released, and it was also one of the best.  The pieces fit together better than any of the previous three models, the decal sheet was extensive, and the landing gear precluded the need for a display stand.
