About the Design
Introduced in Season 3 of "The Expanse," the Razorback is an extensively modified sixth generation Procerpina Sunflare. The ship is propelled by a super-charged Destrier-4 High-Velocity Epstein Drive constantly maintained by multi-injection hyper-coolant units. Its wing-tip control thrusters are situated as far as possible from the ship's center of mass, allowing it to make rapid turns and course corrections.
Crewed by a pilot and co-pilot navigator seated in gimbled seats that can be turned in response to rapid and severe g-forces, the Razorback is arguably the fastest and most maneuverable spacecraft in the solar system. The Razorback won the majority of its titles while piloted by Juliet Mao, the late daughter of billionaire industrialist Jules Pierre Mao. |
