April 13, 2015:
Good news and bad news.
First, the good news: The long-awaited SHIELD Helicarrier and SPECTRE
Bird One decals finally arrived today. The quality of the
print-screening by Canuck Models is excellent. And now the bad news: The
SHIELD decals are too big -- just slightly, but enough so they won't
properly fit the angled flight decks -- so I have to have them
reprinted. Which means additional delay. But the SPECTRE Bird One decals
are perfect, so I'm pleased to announce that the 1:72 kit is now
BACK IN
STOCK.
April 7, 2016: BIG
RESTOCK! Once again
available in the Virtual Museum Store:

Soviet LK Moon Lander
-
1:72 XRV

-

Talon from "Stealth" (2005)
For those of you who have
been waiting for LK decals, they're going in the mail today and
tomorrow. Thanks so much for your patience!
SOLD OUT! The 1:72
Project Pluto SLAM Missile kit has made its last Doomsday

SOLD OUT! Our last

25th Century" (1979-81) are now winging their way to one lucky customer
and are now officially retired.
"Fantastic Plastic" is a scale
modeling site that celebrates the weird, the wonderful, the odd, the
radical, the exotic and the just plane cool aircraft and
spacecraft model kits produced in styrene (and resin) over
the last 70-plus years. From bizarre World War II-era "Luft
'46" project planes to the latest science fiction concepts, here is a chronicle of Man's
highest aspirations as expressed through his flying machines, both real
and imagined. The
Fantastic Plastic "Virtual Museum of Flying Wonders" is divided into
seven "galleries," each
dedicated to a particular area of interest. These are:
Whether your interest is "Luft
'46," the American Space Program, X-planes, radical aircraft prototypes,
"paper projects," Star
Trek, Star Wars, hovercraft or UFOs, you are sure to find something here
to ignite your passion -- and trigger wonderful memories.
And while you're here, please
be sure to visit the Fantastic Plastic "Virtual
Museum Store," where you'll find our exclusive line of unique aircraft
and spacecraft model kits for sale.
Thanks for visiting.
Return often. And...
WATCH THE SKIES!!!
