ABOUT THE DESIGN |
ABOUT THE KIT |
First revealed in the climax of James Cameron's original cult-hit "The Terminator," the T-800 was a chrome-plated fighting robot of enormous strength and durability. First realized via a combination of stop-motion animation and live puppetry, the robot was brought to life via more sophisticated CGI in Cameron's 1992 follow-up, "Terminator 2." |
This well-executed plastic
kit from Tsukuda of Japan made it to the USA in limited numbers via specialty
hobby shops and mail order. The model stands about 10 inches high, is poseable,
and features its own machine gun.
This model was built from an original issue. |
