ABOUT THE KIT |
The first season of NBC-TV's "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" found the Earth Defense Directorate in constant conflict with Draconia, a militaristic humanoid race bent on galactic conquest. The leader of the Draconians was the over-sexed Princess Aradala (Pamela Hensley), who had her eye on the strapping 20th Century astronaut Rogers as well as galactic domination. Traveling the universe in a giant greeblie-covered warship, Ardala occasionally had to "travel light" via her personal royal launch. Designed and built by Kenneth Larson at Universal's Heartland special effects facility, the Ardala Launch was later rebuilt as the significantly less attractive "Vorvon Shuttle" for a subsequent episode. |
Mastered by Alfred Wong and cast by BLAP! Models, the Ardala Launch kit was released by Fantastic Plastic Models in early 2007. |
