ABOUT THE DESIGN |
ABOUT THE KIT |
A flying wing with the
blemish-free chrome finish distinctive of Naboo starship design, the Royal
Cruiser is a diplomatic transport uses to ferry high-ranking government
personnel between star systems. Although normally unarmed, the Royal
Cruiser can carry up to four N-1 Starfighters in the re-charge sockets on
its wing's leading edge. In "Attack of the Clones," the Royal Cruiser made a majestic entrance as it dropped from space into the atmosphere of Coruscant, only to blow up on its landing pad as a result of Separatist sabotage. |
Fantastic Plastic Models' first
release for 2009, the Royal Cruiser was distinctive in that it allowed modelers
to build the craft in either its in-flight or landing configurations. A
large display stand was also included. This kit was released in January 2009 and retired in July 2009. |
