ABOUT THE DESIGN: | ABOUT THE MODEL: | |
Designed in 1942 by Lippisch
designer Josef Huber, the P.13 was intended to be a high-speed bomber.
Its tail-less, swept-wing design featured a single engine with propellers
mounted at both the front and rear of the aircraft. A large ventral fin gave
it an almost cruciform cross-section. The similarly-named Lippisch P.13a and P.13b were completely unrelated projects undertaken later during WWII. |
