ABOUT THE DESIGN: | ABOUT THE MODEL: | |
The Boulton Paul P.100 was one of several high-performance fighter concepts the British Royal Air Force explored during World War II. The P.100 was distinguished by its large canards and unusual rear-mounted wing. This configuration was devised to best accommodate the large, heavy armaments the plane's specifications required. Two counter-rotating propellers were deemed optimal for take-off and achieving maximum climb rate. |
