ABOUT THE DESIGN |
ABOUT THE KIT |
Seen only briefly during a deep space rendezvous sequence, the Vulcan Warp Shuttle was memorable for being the first Vulcan spacecraft ever depicted in a "Star Trek" screen story. Its highly angular design and its forward-extending warp nacelles gave the craft a look that was decidedly distinct from the human-influenced Federation vessels seen up to that point. |
Released in conjunction with 1979's "Star Trek - The Motion Picture," the Vulcan shuttle was re-released in the late 1980s despite the fact that it failed to appear in any of the subsequent "Star Trek" films. The kit was released again in 2010 with its original AMT branding by Round 2. This model is an original issue. |
