ABOUT THE DESIGN |
ABOUT THE KIT |
In 2007, Fantastic Plastic Models staged its first "Starship Design" contest, inviting Fantastic Plastic Fans to submit original designs for futuristic starfighters that could be reproduced as 1:72 scale models. Of the nearly 200 entries received, five were selected as finalists and visitors were asked to vote for their favorite. The clear winner was this "V-47 Warlock" design by Vic Rinaldi. It depicts a one-man fighter capable of both atmospheric and deep-space combat operations. |
The V-47 Warlock was the first original design to be kitted by Fantastic Plastic Models. Based on Vic Rinaldi's prize-winning design, it was patterned by Scott Spicer and cast by BLAP! Models. |
