The "Neb" in the Sewers of Old Earth |
ABOUT THE DESIGN |
ABOUT THE KIT |
The Nebuchadnezzar was one of several "hovercraft" used by free humans in their fight against Earth's computer overlords in the 1999 megahit "The Matrix." Apparently cobbled together from bits and pieces of discarded technology and flying by means of magnetism through the sewers and power conduits of the world's ruined cities, the "Neb" was armed with both conventional kinetic weapons as well as a powerful EMP (Electro-Magnetic Pulse) bomb that could neutralize any computerized menace within hundreds of feet. |
Patterned by Alfred Wong, this
nicely cast kit was released by Larson Designs through its Mini-Model Madness
Web site in 2006. This was the first significant kit of this unusual
subject released by a Garage Kit (GK) company available in North America.
Like most Larson kits, it came bagged with no box art. This model was built from an original issue. |
