1980s
In the 1980s, rapid advances in computer technology coupled with breakthroughs in composite engineered ushered in a whole new era of experimental aircraft. Because this stealth research was conducted in ultra-secrecy, models of the actual aircraft were not available to the public until the aircraft themselves were operational. |
