ABOUT THE DESIGN

ABOUT THE KIT

Numerous fighter designs emerged from Japan’s “Crusher Joe” TV animated TV series, including this needle-nosed beauty.  The angle of the wings and tail along with the shape of its engines definitely suggest an Asian artistic sensibility.

Takara of Japan produced a whole slew of “Crusher Joe” models in the mid-1980s, many of which are still available on the collector’s market.  The Siren was produced in both 1/100 scale by Takara, and in 1/144 scale by Nitto.

The model was built from an original issue.
