ABOUT THE DESIGN:    ABOUT THE MODEL:
The Nexus was spaceflight visionary Krafft Ehricke's concept for a Single Stage to Orbit (SSTO) booster capable of lifting 900 tonnes into orbit.  Standing as tall as the Washington Monument, the fully recoverable booster system would have dwarfed anything in either the American or Soviet arsenals, including the Soviet N-1 and the American Saturn V.

Although CAD-designer Scott Lowther laid out both the Mars Mission and Project Orion payloads (see below), current plans call for this kit to include the Mars Mission payload only.

  • Scale: 1:288
  • Material: Resin
  • Number of Pieces: 71
  • Pattern by Scott Lowther
  • Casting Masterpiece Models
  • Decals by JBOT
