| Messerschmitt developed the P.1070 and Me.262 simultaneously, but ultimately abandoned the P.1070 to concentrate on the '262. The P.1070 was designed to be powered by two BMW 3304 turbojet engines. Armament would have consisted of two 20mm cannon in the nose and a rifle calibre machinegun in the wingroot. |
