| This is another of Messerschmitt's P.1079 proposals. The 15 version was distinguished by its flat, almost fish-like body and asymmetrically located cockpit that provided more room for the plane's pulse-jet engine. Like other designs in the P.1079 series, the plane had no undercarriage; it would be launched from a rail-mounted trolley and land via an underbelly skid. |
