This craft conformed to the "battleships in space" motif that dominated all of "Starblazers" (originally Japan's "Space Battleship Yamato") and perhaps more than any other ship design in the series, projected a decidedly Shogun-era design influence.

This Japanese import was available briefly in the U.S. in the mid-1980s and turns up every now at then on Ebay.
