1) The name of the kit is Apollo 27 Rocket by Pegasus Hobbies.

2) The unit can be powered by either 9V or 110AC.

3) The first switch is for selecting the power source.

4) The last switch allows one to turn on the cockpit/main engine lights.

5) There are two potientiometers that lets one control the "speed"* of:   a) the four outboard engines, and b) the center engine.  The outboard and center engines flash in a 1-3, 2-4 sequence (two blinks per second).  There is one led in each of the outboard engines (red) and five (four red one orange) in the center engine.
*Speed is the rate of flash of the leds-- which can be increased from 1 per second to "on"

6) There are two blue leds which flash underneath the cockpit.

7) Engine wiring runs through the "structure" which holds each engine to the main body.  These were drilled out with a 3/64 drill.  All of the other wiring runs through the brass tube connected to the main body of the rocket.
