Arguably the fastest, most
maneuverable and most powerful fighter craft in the B5
universe, the Nial-Class Fighter -- also known as the Windstar -- is the
most feared and celebrated tactical vessel among the younger galactic
races. Sporting the triad wing technology favored by the Minbari,
the Nial carries three powerful laser cannons near its cockpit and has
advanced stealth fears that make it difficult to track or even see in
battle. Nials are carried aboard Minbari Sharlin-Class war cruisers where they serve as escort, point defense and scout vessles. |
