ABOUT THE DESIGN

ABOUT THE KIT

Small and sleek, the chrome-plated Naboo Royal Yacht was a small, unarmed personal transport for Senator Padme Amadala.  Among Lucasfilm designers, this craft was considered to be the clearest homage to the finned "rocketships" of 1930s sci-fi that inspired the entire Naboo starship motif.

Released in June 2009, this was the third in Fantastic Plastic Models' 1:288 Naboo Starship Series.  (The others were the Royal Cruiser and Royal Starship.)  Six-and-a-half inches long, it came complete with landing gear, ramp and display stand.

This model was built from an original issue.

This kit was retired in July 2009.
