| In 1944, Focke Wulf launched a series of studies to develop a fast bomber that could carry 1000 kgs. of bombs 1000 km at 1000 km/hr. Hence "Projekt 1000 x 1000 x 1000." The company's first iteration was this fairly conventional design featuring wings swept back 18 degree to two lower-wing nacelles. The plane would carry a single pilot. |
