| This decade saw the slightest possible resurgence in Spec Spacecraft modeling thanks to the launch of the first Space Shuttle coupled with the Reagan Administration's push for its Strategic Defense Initiative, also known as "Star Wars." Ironically, while most of the major space gains made during this decade were by the United State of America, the spec space models came out of Europe, primarily Revell of Germany. |
